Jagdalpur -- Municipal Corporation Jagdalpur has started the process of shutting down towers if the outstanding renewal fee is not deposited.
The action was started in Guru Ghasidas Ward on Tuesday. During this, action was taken on Indus Tower and ATC Towers, while action will be taken on BSNL and Jio towers on the next date. A time limit of 07 days has been set by the Municipal Corporation, if the renewal fee is not deposited within this time limit, then the entire tower will be sealed.
Revenue Chairman of Municipal Corporation Sangram Singh Rana said that this action will continue till the renewal of the towers is not done. Despite giving notice, no cognizance was taken by the officials of the concerned towers. The arbitrariness of mobile tower companies in the city has reached its peak. Keeping in mind the people of Jagdalpur, the action of sealing the towers is being done in a phased manner.
Mainly Deputy Engineer Dipanshu Dewangan, Building Coordinator Surya Nirmalkar and other employees of the corporation were present during this action.
