Jagdalpur:-The city roads are now going to be illuminated again. The company which was responsible for the work of street light maintenance in the Municipal Corporation area had stopped the work due to technical reasons. Due to this, not only the citizens had to face trouble, but night time travel also became unsafe. The matter was stuck in a dispute between the state government and the former vendor, which has now ended.
The state government has handed over the responsibility of maintenance work to the new vendor Khushmita Services Company. The company showed its activeness as soon as it took charge and on Wednesday restarted the closed street lights of Chhatrapati Shivaji Ward and Dalpat Sagar Ward.
The company claims that if the weather remains favorable and there are no obstacles like rain, then the street light system will be completely repaired in all the wards of the Municipal Corporation area within the next 15 days.

This news is a relief for the city dwellers. For a long time, there was a possibility of accidents in the localities and wards, where anti-social elements were also active. Now with the return of lights on the streets, the sense of security will be strengthened among the people.
Mayor Sanjay Pandey said that due to the street light system being closed, the citizens faced inconvenience, but now as soon as the new vendor got the responsibility, the work has started rapidly. Our effort is that every street, every road of the city should be lit up with light. In the coming 15 days, the whole city will be filled with light again.
A new vendor has been selected due to continuous efforts by the Municipal Corporation and the intervention of the state government. This makes it clear that the administration is serious about the basic facilities of the city.

Starting from Chhatrapati Shivaji Ward and Dalpat Sagar Ward, the company is now working fast in other wards as well. It is expected that within 15 days all the major roads and lanes of Jagdalpur will be lit up at night.
