Hummer Lakshya' campaign is being run in Kanker district of Chhattisgarh, whose aim is to connect every child with the mainstream of education. Under this campaign, students who have dropped out of school, never gone to school, or migrating students are being identified and admitted to schools by running a special campaign. Collector Shri Nilesh Kumar Mahadev Kshirsagar said that the quality of education is continuously improving in the district and the students have performed commendably. 

* Main points of Humar Lakshya Abhiyan:* - * Improvement in the quality of education: * The quality of education is continuously improving in the district and students have performed commendably. - 

* Adding out of school students: * Under the campaign, students who have dropped out of school, never went to school, or migrating students are being identified and admitted to schools by running a special campaign. - 

*Free Education:* Efforts are being made to get free admission in the district for the children of financially weak parents, English medium schools, PMShri Vidyalaya, Eklavya Vidyalaya, Prayas residential school, 200 seater girls residential school and boys dormitory. 

* Initiative of the Department of Education:* - * Parent-Child Conference: * The Education Department has set a target of working directly by connecting the parents through the Parent-Child Conference and the Mother Orientation Conference. -

 * Health and all round development: * 

Along with the education of children, special attention is also being paid to their health and all-round development.
