Dr. Kiranmayi Nayak, Chairperson of Chhattisgarh State Women Commission, conducted a public hearing on 16 cases related to women harassment in the Collectorate Kanker's meeting hall. During this, she resolved various cases by giving counselling.
*Hearing of Women Commission:*
- *Hearing of 16 cases:* The Commission held hearing on 16 cases today, which included cases of various types of women harassment.
- *Husband-wife relationship got connected:* In one case, the relationship of husband and wife, who were living separately for two years, got connected due to the counselling of the Commission. The non-applicant agreed to give 3 acres of land and Rs 2.50 lakh to the applicant.
- *There will be no baseless comments in future:* In another case, the non-applicant had published corruption complaints against the applicant in newspapers. On the counselling of the Commission, the non-applicant publicly apologised to the applicant and agreed not to make baseless comments in future.
*Commission's initiatives:*
- *Solution of cases of women harassment:* The Commission resolved various cases by counselling and protected the rights of women.
- *Justice for women:* With the initiative of the Commission, women got justice and their rights were protected.
